KATHMANDU: Deepal, Nepal’s leading luxury EV brand, has expanded its presence with a new showroom in Itahari, one of the key markets of Koshi Province.
Marking the occasion, the company has also introduced the new Deepal S05 SUV and announced a four-day Special Test Drive & Exchange Program.
The program, which runs from September 5 to 8, offers customers the opportunity to experience Deepal’s full range of premium electric vehicles, including the S07 ICA, the L07 sedan, the transformer SUV E07, the Avatr 11 and the newly launched S05.
Customers taking part in the exchange campaign can have their old vehicles evaluated and also benefit from added offers such as cash discounts, free insurance, free road tax and a complimentary travel charger.
The launch event also featured humanoid robots and robotic dogs, reflecting Changan’s focus on futuristic technology and innovation.
The new Deepal S05 is powered by CATL’s Golden Shield Battery System 2.0, offering up to 600,000 km of life and fast charging from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes. It also supports 6 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), allowing the SUV to power external devices.
For comfort, it comes with ventilated and heated seats, along with a Queen Co-Pilot Seat that includes Zero Gravity posture, leg support and nap mode. The S05 also offers Remote In & Out Parking for easy maneuvering in tight spaces.
The SUV features an Augmented Reality Head-Up Display and a 14.4-inch touchscreen with Spotify, YouTube, Amazon Music, and live navigation. Owners can also control air conditioning, charging, and vehicle tracking through their smartphone.
