KATHMANDU: Xpeng is set to unveil the all-new P7 electric liftback at the Munich Motor Show (IAA Mobility 2025), showcasing the model alongside its latest AI technologies.
The second-generation P7 was launched in China on August 27. It features an 800V system and dual-chamber air suspension as standard.
Three versions are available: an 820 km ultra-long range, a 750 km performance version and a 702 km long-range version (CLTC).
Pricing in China starts at around USD 30,730. The new P7 features Xpeng’s “Xmart Face” design, a slim light bar, an illuminated logo, a floating roof and an active rear spoiler. It measures 5,017 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width and 1,427 mm in height, with a 3,008 mm wheelbase.
Inside, it offers a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, an AR-HUD and a 23-speaker sound system. Both front seats have 16-way adjustment, heating, ventilation and massage functions. Cargo space is 575 liters, expandable to 1,929 liters. Power options include a 270 kW rear-wheel drive and a 437 kW all-wheel drive.
The AWD version accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. Battery packs are available in 74.9 kWh LFP and 92.2 kWh NMC chemistries, offering a range of 702–820 km.
With 5C fast charging, 525 km of range can be added in 10 minutes. The original P7 launched in 2020 and sold nearly 191,000 units in China. The new model received 10,000 orders within seven minutes of its launch.
