Forthing Friday SUV spotted in Kathmandu [In Pictures]

KATHMANDU: The Friday compact SUV from Dongfeng’s sub-brand, Forthing, has been spotted in Kathmandu with an ‘On Test’ sticker.

According to Laxmi e-Mobility, the authorized distributor for Forthing in Nepal, the car will go on sale at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo, which kicks off in Kathmandu on August 6.

The Forthing Friday comes with a 64.4 kWh lithium-ion phosphate battery pack. The company has claimed that this battery can be fully charged in 5.5 hours using an 11 kW AC charger. Additionally, it supports 120 kW DC fast charging which can top up the battery from 30% to 80% in just 35 minutes.

The SUV will be available in two variants, with prices expected to start from Rs 5.7 million.
