KATHMANDU: GO Automobiles has officially launched sales of the MG Hector in Nepal after being appointed as the authorized dealer for JSW MG Motor India vehicles.
The company had already started sales of the MG Comet EV and Windsor EV last week. Earlier, India-made MG vehicles were distributed in Nepal by Paramount Motors.
GO Automobiles is offering the new MG Hector in four variants. The SUV has been launched at a starting price of Rs 6.699 million. With this, the MG brand has further expanded its product lineup in the Nepali market.

According to the company, the new Hector comes with upgraded technology, more premium features, and a refreshed exterior design. The company claims the SUV offers a bigger SUV experience, better comfort, and improved practicality compared to rivals in the same price segment.
The new Hector features a premium interior, connected car technology, advanced safety features, a spacious cabin, and user-friendly equipment. Compared to the previous version, the SUV has received noticeable upgrades in design, technology, features, and overall premium appeal.
Powering the SUV is a 1.5-liter turbocharged intercooled petrol engine. It produces 143 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual and a CVT gearbox.

GO Automobiles Managing Director Akash Golchha said the company is pleased to introduce the new MG Hector in Nepal. He stated that the Hector is one of MG’s most popular and refined SUVs globally, known for its premium experience, technology, spacious design, and value-for-money proposition.
He added that the updated Hector includes more features, higher comfort, attractive styling, and modern technology, making it more competitive in its segment.
