KATHMANDU: VG Impex Pvt. Ltd., the authorized importer of GWM vehicles in Nepal, has started preparations for the delivery of the ORA 5 and HAVAL Jolion MAX EV to customers.

The company said the delivery process for booked vehicles is being moved forward progressively.

VG Impex has been using the Korala border point to transport vehicles after flooding disrupted the Rasuwagadhi road section in the Bhotekoshi area. The alternative route has helped the company continue vehicle transportation and delivery despite the road disruption.

The HAVAL Jolion MAX EV was unveiled at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026. It is GWM’s second fully electric SUV in Nepal after the ORA 5. The SUV was launched at an introductory price of Rs 5.999 million.

According to VG Impex, both models have received an encouraging response from Nepali customers. The company said their modern design, electric powertrain and premium positioning have attracted strong interest.

Customer bookings are being processed progressively. VG Impex said further details about the delivery schedule will be announced soon.

The company is also planning to expand its GWM portfolio in Nepal with more premium and luxury models. It aims to bring more technology-focused and globally competitive vehicles to the Nepali market.
