KATHMANDU: The facelift version of the Honda City has leaked online ahead of its official debut. Honda is expected to launch the updated sedan in India on May 22.

The leaked image reveals a redesigned front fascia. The new City gets a slimmer grille with a honeycomb mesh pattern and sleeker LED headlamps integrated into the grille.

The front bumper has also been updated. It now features a revised air dam and triangular design elements on both sides.

Inside the cabin, the Facelifted City is expected to offer several new features. These may include a powered driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, a digital instrument cluster, a larger infotainment screen, and a 360-degree camera.

Mechanically, the sedan is expected to remain unchanged. The new City will continue to use the same 1.5-liter petrol and strong-hybrid powertrain options.

The naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 119 BHP and 145 Nm of torque. It is available with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT transmission.

The hybrid version delivers 124 BHP and comes paired with an e-CVT gearbox.
