KATHMANDU: Korean automobile manufacturer Hyundai has been seen testing a new electric car that is being launched in the Indian market. Hyundai’s new EV was seen at a charging station in Goa, India.
According to the spy photos released, the new EV is completely covered in camouflage. Its length is estimated to be less than 4 meters.
The upcoming Carens Clavis EV GT Line was also seen next to this vehicle at the charging station. Although this EV is completely covered, some design cues can be seen. The height of this SUV looks good, and its shape appears slightly boxy.
The rear part also looks quite straight, which will help maximize the interior and boot space. This Hyundai electric SUV, which is being made specifically for India, also has roof rails. Most of its roof looks flat, which indicates that this SUV has a family-focused and practical design.
Previous models seen testing in India used steel wheels. The new alloy wheels now seen on the car feature a geometric multi-spoke design. The size could be around 16 or 17 inches.
Such designs are often used in electric vehicles, helping improve efficiency while maintaining a modern design.
The wheels used on the EV that Hyundai is testing indicate that the vehicle is almost ready for production.
