KATHMANDU: The iCaur V23 electric SUV, which was unveiled in Nepal ahead of Dashain, has now officially arrived for sale. SPG Automobiles, the authorized distributor of iCaur in Nepal, said customer deliveries will begin soon across the country.
The iCaur V23 features a blend of retro-inspired design and modern cyber-tech engineering. It is powered by a 100 kW electric motor paired with a rear-wheel-drive system.
The electric SUV comes with a 59.93 kWh battery pack. According to the company, the V23 can deliver a driving range of up to 401 km on a single charge.
Designed with a strong off-road appeal, the iCaur V23 offers 210 mm ground clearance, a boxy body design, side steps, and a boot space that can be expanded up to 744 liters. It also gets a smoked front grille, round headlamps, and a squared-off front profile.
Additional exterior highlights include a roof luggage rack, hidden door handles, an external storage container, and a side-opening rear door, giving the SUV a rugged character.
Inside, the iCaur V23 is equipped with a 15.4-inch central touchscreen powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chipset. Other features include electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats, a seven-speaker audio system, a 90-liter under-floor trunk, under-seat storage compartments, automatic parking, and ADAS.
Dimension-wise, the electric SUV measures 4,220 mm in length, 1,915 mm in width, and 2,735 mm in height.
SPG Automobiles said early bookers will be able to purchase the iCaur V23 at a price below Rs 4.7 million.
