Laxmi Premium launches BMW iX2 at Rs 17.996 million

KATHMANDU: Laxmi Premium Motors, the authorized distributor of BMW in Nepal, has launched the sale of BMW’s third model in the ‘iX’ series, the iX2.

The iX2 has been introduced to the Nepali market at a price of Rs 17.996 million.

Previously, BMW had already offered two models from the iX series, the iX1 and iX3 in Nepal.

The iX2, which comes in a coupe design, features a 150-kW front-wheel-drive motor based on BMW’s eDrive20 system. It is equipped with a 66.5 kWh battery pack, which offers a WLTP-certified range of up to 430-475 kilometers on a full charge.

The vehicle supports an 11 kW AC charger or a 130 kW DC fast charger.

The coupe SUV features 19-inch double-spoke alloy wheels. While the car does not have a spare tire, there is a tire repair kit for emergencies.

Inside, the iX2 boasts a dual curved screen layout, a head-up display, a Harman Kardon music system with 12 speakers, a panoramic glass roof and heated power front seats with memory function. It also features a wireless charger, automatic air conditioning, and rear AC vents for enhanced comfort for both the driver and passengers.

In terms of safety, the iX2 is equipped with seven airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, an integrated braking system, auto-hold, drive-off assist, dynamic brake control, multi-drive functions and high-beam assist.

The coupe SUV features 19-inch double-spoke alloy wheels. While the car does not have a spare tire, there is a tire repair kit for emergencies.

The compact SUV measures 4,554 mm in length, 1,845 mm in width and 1,560 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,692 mm.
