KATHMANDU : A new electric scooter has been developed through a joint effort of Yatri Design Studio and Sipradi Trading.

On the occasion of Father’s Day, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel visited Yatri Design Studio. Photos of his visit were shared on social media. Along with it, images of the production model of the Yatri P2 scooter also appeared.

The scooter carries a sporty design. A mid-mounted motor can be seen, as shown earlier in a teaser. The front fender and rear section look muscular. A blue Yatri badge is placed below the seat. The seat also seems wide and comfortable.

The scooter features 12-inch alloy wheels and an aluminum swing arm. It also comes with double-sided spring suspension. Sharp edges are visible on the body, and the floorboard looks spacious.

The images suggest that the Yatri P2 is close to its final production stage. The company may launch it in the market soon.

Earlier, Yatri had planned to showcase its first “Made in Nepal” electric scooter at the NADA Auto Show. However, it could not be displayed due to technical reasons.
