KATHMANDU: The much-awaited NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 is starting today at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. The six-day expo will feature more than 55 automotive and mobility brands and over 40 new product launches.
This year’s expo will see a major wave of new vehicle launches. More than 40 new models and updated versions are expected across two-wheelers, passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles.
The passenger car segment will see more than 15 new models. Most of them are electric vehicles. Several new brands are also making their Nepal debut through the expo.
Hyundai is preparing to showcase four new models. These include the Ioniq 9, all-new Venue, Venue N Line and updated Creta.
Laxmi Motor Hub is introducing the BAIC BJ30. Laxmi Group companies will also introduce models from Kaiyi and Karry in the commercial vehicle segment.
Paramount Motors is bringing several new Wuling models, including the Xingxiang, Mini EV, Darion and updated Bingo. Wuling is among the brands expected to have a major presence at the expo.
SPG Automobiles is preparing to introduce the Omoda 4, Chery Q and iCAUR V27. The Chery Q, known internationally as the QQ3, is making its Nepal debut at the expo.
Pioneer Moto Corp is launching the Nissan Tekton, while GO Automobiles is introducing the MG Majestor. The Majestor is listed as a flagship SUV and is currently marked as coming soon for Nepal.
Mahindra will showcase the XEV 9S, while EV Ride is bringing the Honri Boma EV.
Tata Motors will showcase the updated Punch EV and Tiago EV. Similarly, Simeks Inc. is preparing to introduce updated versions of the BYD Atto 1, Atto 2 and Atto 3.
United Traders Syndicate is bringing the latest Toyota RAV4 and Hilux. GWM will also showcase new models at the expo.
Other major brands, including Kia, Maxus, Henry Volts and Leapmotor, are preparing multiple new models for the event. Leapmotor is expected to introduce the B03 in Nepal.
The large number of new launches is expected to give Nepali buyers more choices across different price segments. Customers will be able to explore new EVs, SUVs, passenger cars and commercial vehicles under one roof.
The NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 will run from August 11 to 16 at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.
