KATHMANDU: The Wuling Eksion EV has arrived in Nepal. Paramount Motors is set to announce its price today at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026. We test-drove the seven-seat electric SUV across different parts of Kathmandu Valley to see what it offers.
The Eksion EV has the potential to appeal to buyers looking for a spacious seven-seater. Its market performance, however, will largely depend on the price set by Paramount Motors.
The SUV measures 4,745 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width and 1,755 mm in height. It has a 2,810 mm wheelbase, providing a spacious cabin. The model is available with a seven-seat layout. Wuling also lists the Eksion with a flexible five- or seven-seat configuration in some markets.
Power is one of the Eksion EV’s strongest points. It gets a 69.2 kWh LFP battery and a 150 kW electric motor. The motor produces 310 Nm of torque. Wuling claims a range of up to 530 km under the CLTC cycle.
During our test drive, the strong motor output was noticeable. The SUV delivers quick acceleration and has enough power for regular city driving and highway use. Its larger size does not take away from the strong performance.
The Eksion also comes with a long list of comfort and convenience features. These include ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, an 8.8-inch TFT instrument display and a 12.8-inch central screen. The driver’s seat gets six-way electric adjustment.
Safety is another major highlight. The SUV gets Level 2 ADAS, along with features such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind-spot detection and rear cross-traffic alert. A 360-degree camera is also available.
The Eksion EV also gets an electric parking brake and auto hold. These features make the SUV easier to drive, especially in busy city traffic.
With its spacious cabin, large battery, strong motor and extensive feature list, the Wuling Eksion EV brings a strong package to Nepal. The key question now is its price. If Paramount Motors positions it competitively, the Eksion could become an interesting option in Nepal’s growing seven-seat EV market.
