Skoda teases Kushaq facelift ahead of launch

KATHMANDU: Skoda has released an official teaser of the upcoming Kushaq facelift, signaling that the updated compact SUV is nearing its debut in India.

Facelifted model will receive design updates along with additional features. On the outside, the Kushaq facelift is expected to retain its split headlamp layout while introducing a slimmer front grille.

Redesigned front and rear bumpers are also expected. At the rear, the SUV is likely to feature new L-shaped LED taillights connected by a full-width LED light bar.

Interior updates are expected to focus on technology and comfort. The updated Kushaq could get a larger touchscreen infotainment system and new features such as a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS. Some reports also indicate the possible addition of rear seats with a massage function.

Under the hood, the Kushaq facelift will continue with the existing 1.0-liter and 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engines. Transmission options are expected to include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic, and a 7-speed DSG.

Further details, including pricing and exact launch timing, are expected to be announced closer to the launch.
