KATHMANDU: The ‘VIP’ facility at Tribhuvan International Airport, previously available for distinguished passengers, has been closed.

The airport office announced the closure through a notice displayed outside the VIP lounge.

According to the office, the facility was shut down due to inconvenient circumstances. Passengers have been advised to use the regular departure and arrival routes.

Tribhuvan Airport, which had been closed since Tuesday, became fully operational yesterday. International flights, however, had resumed operations from Wednesday.
