KATHMANDU: Xiaomi has revealed its Vision Gran Turismo hypercar concept for the Gran Turismo video game series. It becomes the 51st Vision Gran Turismo model created for the franchise.

The electric hypercar features an advanced aerodynamic package. It comes with an Active Wake Control System that manages airflow at the rear.

The system releases air through micro-perforations around the taillights to push turbulent air away from the vehicle.

The concept also gets unique accretion rims. These vortex-shaped wheel covers include turbine-style fins to cool the brakes. Magnets keep the covers stationary while driving to reduce drag. Xiaomi claims a drag coefficient of 0.29.

Inside, the cabin follows a “Sofa Racer” theme. The dashboard, seats, and door panels form a continuous loop layout. A slim display sits at the base of the windshield.

The steering wheel has an integrated screen and race-inspired design. It also features five-point harnesses and physical control switches between the seats.

The hypercar is equipped with multiple sensors to monitor both surroundings and the driver. It supports AI-based systems, steer-by-wire technology, and adaptive settings that adjust based on the driver’s mood.

Xiaomi has also envisioned a dedicated driving simulator based on this concept.
