KATHMANDU: Chinese automaker Zeekr has revealed an updated version of its all-electric X SUV in China. The new model comes with a stronger rear motor but keeps the same exterior design.
The RWD model now has a 250 kW (335 hp) motor, replacing the older 200 kW (268 hp) unit. It comes with a lithium iron phosphate battery.
The AWD model uses two motors – 115 kW (154 hp) in the front and 250 kW (335 hp) in the rear – together producing 365 kW (489 hp).
This variant uses a ternary lithium battery. Both models have a top speed of 190 km/h.
The design of the SUV has not changed. It still features LED daytime running lights, a 1.21 m² panoramic sunroof and a taillight with 229 LEDs. Its size also remains the same at 4,450 mm long, 1,836 mm wide and 1,572 mm tall, with a 2,750 mm wheelbase.
Buyers can also choose from different rim designs, brake caliper colors, roof colors and side mirror finishes. Other options include logo styles, glass types and even a version without door handles.
The AWD version of the current model produces 315 kW (422 hp) with a 66 kWh battery, providing 512 km and 500 km ranges under CLTC. The latest update brings more performance while keeping the overall design and dimensions the same.
Pioneer Moto Corp is the official distributor of Zeekr in Nepal.
