KATHMANDU: Nissan has previewed the all-new Nissan Rogue for 2027, featuring a new design and the brand’s e-POWER hybrid system. The SUV is expected to launch in the US and Canada later this year.

The new Rogue adopts a more aggressive design with a large blacked-out grille, sharp LED DRLs, sculpted body lines, and a full-width rear light bar. The updated styling positions it against rivals like Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, and Hyundai Tucson.

The key update is the introduction of Nissan’s e-POWER hybrid system in North America. Unlike conventional hybrids, the system uses a petrol engine only as a generator, while the wheels are driven entirely by an electric motor.

Although detailed specifications are yet to be confirmed, the setup is expected to use a 1.5-liter engine similar to the system offered in global models like the X-Trail.

More details about the new Rogue will be announced closer to its official launch.
