346 police vehicles torched, vandalized in Kathmandu Valley alone

KATHMANDU: A total of 346 vehicles of Nepal Police were torched and vandalized in three districts of Kathmandu Valley after the Gen Z protest escalated on September 8 and 9.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Police Office, Ranipokhari, 218 two-wheelers vehicles and 128 four-wheelers, including 24 heavy vehicles, of different police units in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur were vandalized and set on fire by protesters. Many of these vehicles were completely burnt

Most of the police stations and posts in the Valley were also set on fire.
