KATHMANDU: Lalitpur Metropolitan City has provided eight motorcycles to the District Police Office, Lalitpur, to support day-to-day policing activities.

The motorcycles were handed over during a special program on Sunday by Mayor Chiribabu Maharjan to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Hobindra Bogati.

According to the metropolitan office, the police have received Bajaj Pulsar motorcycles manufactured by Bajaj Auto. These motorcycles are expected to enhance patrol mobility, improve emergency response time, and strengthen overall law enforcement operations across the district.

The metropolitan city has been extending logistical and technical support to the police in the past as well. Officials said such coordination between the local government and security agencies will continue to improve public safety and service delivery.
