KATHMANDU: The 18th NADA Auto Show 2026 opens today at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. The six-day exhibition will run from August 25 to 30.
The auto show will be inaugurated by Vice President Ramsahaya Prasad Yadav at 10:30 am.
The event is being organized by the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA). This year’s edition also marks NADA’s 50th anniversary and is being held as its Golden Jubilee edition.
More than 200 stalls will be spread across the exhibition venue. They will feature vehicles, financial and insurance services, auto components, accessories, lubricants, tires and garage equipment.
A total of 53 vehicle brands are participating in the show. This includes 23 passenger vehicle brands, 17 light commercial vehicle brands and 13 two-wheeler brands.
More than a dozen new models are expected to be launched during the event. The biggest attraction will be the Yatri P2 electric scooter. The locally developed and manufactured scooter has been jointly developed by Yatri and Sipradi.
The two-wheeler segment will also see several new launches. Yamaha is set to introduce the XSR 155, while CG Motors will showcase new Hero models, including the Xoom 160, Glamour X 125 and Xtreme 250. Vida will also display its new electric two-wheelers.
The passenger vehicle lineup includes Riddara, Aion, JMEV, Tata EV, Suzuki, Deepal, Avatr, Foton, Skoda, Naami, Changan, Proton, BYD, Geely, BAW Nepal, Omoda, Jaecoo, Jetour, MG, GWM, Leapmotor, MHero and Skywell.
The light commercial vehicle segment includes Foton, Sokon, King Long, Higer, Farizon, Jinbei, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, DFSK, Kama, New Gonow Auto, Aucwell, thee GO, Skyworth EV, Dongfeng, Kawei Auto, Feidi and Ekta Motors.
The two-wheeler brands include Royal Enfield, Yatri, Hero, Vida, Yamaha, Vespa, Aprilia, Ampere, Meta EV, Zongshen, QJ Motors, MiChe Auto and Revolt.
The exhibition has been divided into dedicated areas for four-wheelers, two-wheelers, financial institutions, auto parts and garage equipment, as well as the ‘Made in Nepal/Made for Nepal’ and International Business Pavilion.
The venue is wheelchair-friendly and has adequate lighting, air conditioning and fans. Parking has been arranged at the underground parking area of the Nepal Police Club’s Blue Pavilion and the National Trading premises in Singha Durbar.
The organizers have also arranged a traffic information desk, media desk, cafeteria and emergency medical service. CCTV surveillance and fire-control systems have also been installed.
General visitors will be charged Rs 200 for entry, while students will pay Rs 150. Tickets can be purchased online through the Khalti app.
NADA expects around 200,000 visitors during the six-day exhibition.
