KATHMANDU: Hyundai Motor India has set a new monthly sales record by selling the highest number of vehicles in its history in September 2026.
According to the company, Hyundai sold a total of 77,916 vehicles in domestic and international markets in September. This is the company’s highest-ever monthly sales figure.
Hyundai’s sales increased by 10.76 percent compared to September last year, when it sold 70,347 vehicles. The company had crossed the 75,000-unit monthly sales mark for the first time in July this year.
The new record was supported by growth in both the domestic market and exports. Hyundai sold 57,166 vehicles in India in September, up 10.90 percent from 51,538 units sold in the same month last year.
Exports also increased by 10.37 percent to 20,750 units from 18,800 units in September 2025.
Hyundai has not yet released the model-wise sales breakdown for September. However, the new-generation Venue and Creta are expected to have contributed strongly to the overall sales.
The new-generation venue, launched in November 2025, has received strong interest from Indian customers.
