KATHMANDU: Bajaj Auto is discontinuing production of its Pulsar N150 model in India.

Although the company has not made a formal announcement yet, it has already removed the Pulsar N150 from its official website. It, however, is not clear whether the model will be discontinued in India only or the export markets as well.

According to Indian media reports, the company took the decision due to declining sales of the model. Sales of Pulsar motorcycles in the 150cc have dropped significantly in recent months. In May 2025, Bajaj sold only 15,937 units of the Pulsar 150 and N150 combined, down from 29,386 units during the same month in 2024. Bajaj has two Pulsar models in the 150 cc category — classic Pulsar 150 and the sportier Pulsar N150.

The N150, which was launched as a more modern alternative to the classic model, features a design similar to the Pulsar N160. It is powered by a 149.68cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, capable of generating a maximum of 14.3 bhp and 13.5 Nm of torque.
