KATHMANDU : Bajaj Auto will launch 10 new two-wheelers over the next six weeks, including two all-new Pulsar motorcycles in the 125cc and 150cc segments and new variants of the Chetak electric scooter.
The announcement was made by Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director of Bajaj Auto, who said the launches will complete a broader refresh of the company’s product portfolio.
Bajaj also plans to expand production capacity through brownfield expansion at existing plants and a new greenfield facility. Annual production capacity is expected to increase from 7.2 million units to more than 9 million units, supporting higher output of electric two- and three-wheelers, premium motorcycles and selected ICE three-wheelers.
For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, Bajaj Auto reported a 46 percent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs. 3,226 crore. Sales volumes increased by 29 percent, while exports grew by 54 percent.
The company has also confirmed that its first electric motorcycle is under development and is expected to debut in FY2028. According to Chief Financial Officer Dinesh Thapar, the model will be launched in export markets first, followed by India.
Bajaj will also increase the monthly production of the Chetak electric scooter from 50,000 units to 60,000 units after demand continued to outpace supply.
