KATHMANDU: Batas MAW Commercial Vehicles (BMCV) has received the Breakthrough Award in the Heavy Commercial Bus Segment at the Volvo Eicher Annual Dealership Conference (ADC) 2026 held in Thailand.

The award was presented by Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles Limited (VECV). It recognizes BMCV’s strong performance and rapid growth in Nepal’s bus market.

More than 200 dealers participated in the annual conference. BMCV was selected for its expanding presence and consistent growth despite a competitive market.

The recognition follows the strong market response to the Eicher Majestic bus. The model has gained popularity among transport operators, travel companies, and cooperative societies.

According to the company, over 200 units of the Eicher Majestic are currently in operation across Nepal. More than 95 companies and transport groups are using the bus in their fleets.

The buses have covered over 7.5 million kilometers in total. They are currently operating on more than 25 routes across highways and inter-provincial corridors.

BMCV stated that the award reflects customer trust and long-term partnerships with transport operators and fleet owners.

Batas MAW Commercial Vehicles is the authorized distributor of Volvo Eicher commercial vehicles in Nepal. The company operates a nationwide network across all seven provinces and offers trucks, buses, and light commercial vehicles.
