BYD Atto 2 and Atto 3 prices Increased, new prices announced

KATHMANDU: The prices of BYD’s popular electric SUVs, Atto 2 and Atto 3, have increased in the Nepali market.

Cimex Inc, the official distributor of BYD in Nepal, has increased the price of the Atto 2 by Rs 300,000 and the Atto 3 Advanced variant by Rs 200,000.

The BYD Atto 2, which was previously priced at Rs 4.595 million, now costs Rs 4.899 million. The Atto 2 is currently one of the best-selling BYD models in Nepal.

Similarly, the new price of the BYD Atto 3 Advanced variant has reached Rs 6.199 million. Earlier, it was available at Rs 5.999 million.

The price increase comes after the government revised tax rates on electric vehicles through the budget for the fiscal year 2026/27.

Following the new tax structure, prices of several EV models have changed in the Nepali market. While many models have become more expensive, some manufacturers have also reduced prices by up to Rs 1.6 million.

The BYD Atto 2 is an electric SUV with 200 mm ground clearance. It comes with a 51 kWh battery pack and offers a WLTP range of 345 km. The SUV is powered by a 100 kW electric motor.

Built on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0, the Atto 2 measures 4,310 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width and 1,675 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,620 mm.

The BYD Atto 3 also comes with a 100 kW motor. It is equipped with a 60.48 kWh battery pack and offers a range of up to 425 km on a full charge.

The Atto 3 measures 4,455 mm in length, 1,875 mm in width and 1,615 mm in height. It gets a 2,720 mm wheelbase and offers 434 litres of boot space.

Both BYD Atto 2 and Atto 3 are feature-loaded electric SUVs. They come with features like ADAS, 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, voice control, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and panoramic sunroof.
