Dongfeng Nammi 01 price down; top variant to cost Rs 120,000 less

KATHMANDU: The price of the top variant of the popular Dongfeng Nammi 01 electric hatchback has come down in Nepal by Rs 120,000.

MAW Vriddhi, the authorized distributor of Dongfeng NAMMI, announced that the E-3 variant of the Nammi 01 will now be available for Rs 3.479 million—down from its earlier price of Rs 3.599 million.

According to the company, the change in motor configuration enabled it to reduce the price.

The new E-3 variant now comes with a 50kW electric motor, which qualifies for lower government taxes compared to the earlier 70kW version.

The hatchback has introduced new benchmarks in its segment, offering a luxurious and intelligent driving experience.

Launched less than a year ago, the Nammi 01 hatchback has got a strong response form the Nepali market, with 1,000 units already imported into the country. Its success has been attributed to its standout design, practical size, range and several segment-first features.

Notable features in the car include a segment-first welcome seat, memory seat, frameless doors, flush door handles, auto-parking, intelligent AC system, baby care and rest modes, rain detection and both heated and ventilated seats.

The hatchback is equipped with Level 2 ADAS, a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 17-inch wheels, adaptive cruise control and a 360-degree camera setup supported by 12 ultrasonic radars.
