KATHMANDU: Yamaha Nepal marked ‘Yamaha Day’ on Tuesday by organizing a series of program across the country to celebrate the brand’s 70th global anniversary under the theme “Bridging Old and New, Through Kando Actions”.
The celebration carried deeper meaning, honoring not only Yamaha’s rich heritage but also its deep-rooted presence and enduring bond with generations of Nepali riders, Yamaha Nepal said in a statement.
Yamaha Nepal organized a blood donation program at the Naxal showroom, a tree plantation drive at the Yamaha assembly pant and a BlueStreaks Rideout ending with community service. Road safety training and cake-cutting ceremonies were also held at Yamaha showrooms across the country.
“Yamaha has become more than a machine—it’s a symbol of freedom, reliability and progress,” Deepak Agrawal, CEO of Yamaha Nepal, said in the statement. “We appeal every Yamaha owners, fans and stakeholders and partners to come together and celebrates this special day of ours.”
Yamaha, which is represented in Nepal by MAW Rides, is one of the country’s most trusted two-wheeler brands, known for Japanese technology, performance and strong after-sales support.
