KATHMANDU: G.O. Automobiles, under the Golchha Organization, has introduced a financing scheme that allows customers to own an electric car by paying just Rs 520 per day.
Under the scheme, customers can purchase the MG Comet EV by paying a monthly installment of Rs 15,535, equivalent to around Rs 520 per day.
G.O. Automobiles Managing Director Akash Golchha said the scheme aims to make EV ownership feel less like a major financial commitment and more like a practical lifestyle choice.
“Buying an electric vehicle should not feel like a financial burden. That is why we have made the Comet EV available at a daily installment of Rs 520. It is an ideal choice for people looking to save on fuel costs and for those living in cities with narrow roads and an urban lifestyle,” said Golchha.
Priced from 1.875 million the MG Comet EV is a compact electric hatchback designed primarily for urban use. Built on a dedicated EV platform, it offers seating for up to four occupants.
The Comet EV is powered by a 17.3 kWh battery pack paired with a 30 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor. According to ARAI testing, it delivers a driving range of up to 230 km on a full charge.
