eTerron 9 pickup with 102 kWh battery set to hit Nepali roads

KATHMANDU: Himalayan Motrox has introduced the eTerron 9, an all-electric pickup truck, in the Nepali market.

Available in Luxury and Premium variants, the vehicle boasts a 102 kWh battery—the largest in its segment. It delivers an NEDC range of 560 km and a WLTP range of 430 km on a full charge. The battery can be fully charged in 12 hours using an 11 kW AC charger. The pickup supports DC fast charging at up to 115 kW. The eTerron 9 also features vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability, both inside and outside the cabin.

With dimensions of 5,500 mm (length), 1,997 mm (width) and 1,874 mm (height), the pickup has a 3,300 mm wheelbase and 230 mm ground clearance. Its 29-degree approach angle, along with 25-degree departure and 20-degree ramp angles, enhances off-road maneuverability. Additionally, it can wade through water up to 550 mm deep.

Powered by an all-wheel-drive system, the eTerron 9 combines a 125 kW front motor and a 200 kW rear motor, delivering a combined output of 315 kW. It offers a payload capacity of 620 kg and a towing capacity of 3,500 kg.

The eTerron 9 has achieved a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating and comes with a 5-year or 160,000 km warranty on the vehicle and an eight-year or 200,000 km warranty on its high-voltage battery.

The eTerron 9 comes packed with premium amenities, including auto air conditioning, a heated steering wheel, electrically adjustable and ventilated front and rear seats (with memory and massage functions for the driver), leatherette upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, and automatic headlights and wipers.

Safety features include auto emergency braking, forward collision warning, seven airbags, lane-keep assist with departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Emergency Brake Assist (EBA), an auto-hold function, and a 360-degree camera with front and rear parking sensors.

The eTerron 9 has achieved a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating and comes with a 5-year or 160,000 km (whichever is first) warranty on the vehicle and an eight-year or 200,000 km (whichever comes first) warranty on its high-voltage battery.
