Geely EX5 enters Nepali market, starting at Rs 5.8 million

KATHMANDU: Geely has introduced the EX5 electric SUV in Nepal. LRR Motors has offered two variants: the EX5 Pro and EX5 Max.

Both models will be showcased at the upcoming NADA Auto Show 2025, starting on August 19. With its stylish design, smart features and competitive pricing, the Geely EX5 is set to make a strong impression in Nepal’s EV market.

The EX5 comes in five color options, Snow White, Frosty Grey, Moonlight Silver, Carbon Black and Turquoise Green.

Both variants are powered by a 160 kW motor that produces 215 hp. The SUV can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds. It is equipped with a 60.2 kWh LFP Short Blade battery, offering a certified range of 530 km on a full charge. This battery is known for being safe, efficient and long-lasting.

Geely provides an 8-year or 200,000 km warranty on the battery.

The exterior features a sleek, aerodynamic design with LED headlights, taillights and a modern front grille. Inside, the SUV includes a 15.4-inch infotainment screen, a 10.2-inch digital cluster, wireless charging, voice command and a panoramic sunroof. It also offers five-level seat adjustability.

On the safety front, the EX5 is well-equipped with six airbags, ABS, EBD, ESC, AEB, blind-spot detection, hill assist and more. Users can also control various functions, including speed, through a mobile app.

In Nepal, the EX5 Pro is priced at Rs 5.8 million, while the EX5 Max is available at Rs 6.8 million. LRR Motors has hinted at special discounts during the NADA Auto Show.
