KATHMANDU: Skoda Auto has shared the first look at its new concept car, the Vision O, which will be officially revealed this September at the Munich Motor Show (IAA Mobility).
The Vision O introduces the next step in Skoda’s Modern Solid design, focusing on eco-friendly technology, smart features and the brand’s long history with estate cars.
The car has a smooth and stylish design with a sloping roof and steep front glass common features in Skoda’s estate models. It also follows a circular approach, meaning the car is designed to reuse and recycle materials, helping reduce its impact on the environment.
This concept celebrates 130 years of Skoda’s journey and continues the legacy of estate models like the Octavia Estate, which has sold over 3 million units since 1998.
Skoda’s CEO, Klaus Zellmer, said the Vision O shows the future direction of estate cars for the brand. The Vision O will make its world premiere in early September 2025 in Munich.
Skoda will share more details before the official launch. For now, there is no announcement about the Vision O coming to south Asian market.
