Hero begins deliveries of XOOM 125 scooter in Nepal

KATHMANDU: CG Motors, the authorized distributor of Hero in Nepal, has started deliveries of the new Hero XOOM 125 scooter.  The model was first showcased at the NADA Auto Show 2025 and has now officially reached customers who had booked during the event.

The scooter is priced at Rs 309,900, placing it in the competitive 125cc segment. With this launch, Hero is set to challenge popular models such as the TVS Ntorq, Honda Dio 125 and Yamaha RayZR. For comparison, the TVS Ntorq BS6 is priced at Rs 312,000, while the Honda Dio 125 disc variant comes at Rs 326,000.

The Hero XOOM 125 is powered by a 124.6cc air-cooled engine, producing 9.8 bhp of power and 10.4 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in just 7.6 seconds.

The scooter brings several features to its segment, including all-LED lighting, a digital speedometer with Smart Connect and the first 14-inch alloy wheels in the category.

It is equipped with a front disc and rear drum brake setup, along with telescopic suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear for improved comfort.

With sporty styling, modern features and competitive pricing, the Hero XOOM 125 is expected to add fresh momentum to Hero’s presence in Nepal’s growing scooter market.
