KATHMANDU: Indian two-wheeler brand Hero has launched a new scooter in the Nepali market. The Hero Xoom 125 was unveiled on the opening day of the NADA Auto Show 2025 in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
CG Motors, the authorized distributor of Hero for Nepal, has priced the sporty scooter at Rs 309,900.
The Xoom 125 will compete in the crowded 125cc segment against scooters like the TVS Ntorq, Yamaha RayZR and Honda Dio 125.
According to the company, the XOOM 125 is powered by a 124.6cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces a maximum power of 9.8 bhp and torque of 10.4 Nm. The scooter can reach 0–60 km/h in just 7.6 seconds.
The scooter features all-LED lighting and for the first time in its segment, 14-inch alloy wheels. It has a front disc and rear drum brake setup.
The company has also equipped the Xoom 125 with a Smart Connect feature, a digital speedometer, telescopic front suspension and rear monoshock suspension.
