KATHMANDU: The Honda NX200 motorcycle has officially sold out in Nepal, according to Syakar Trading Pvt Ltd—the authorized distributor of Honda two-wheelers in the country.
The bike, which was launched in Nepal last year, quickly gained popularity among adventure bike enthusiasts. The adventure cruiser was priced at Rs 489,900 in the domestic market.
According to Syakar Trading, the model will not be restocked anytime soon. The company has not provided any reasons for this.
The NX 200 is powered by a 184cc single-cylinder engine producing 17.27 bhp and 16.1 Nm of torque, mated with a 5-speed gearbox. Key features of the bike include a box-type swingarm, chassis borrowed from the Honda Hornet, USD front forks and a monoshock rear suspension. It sports LED lights, LED turn indicators, knuckle guards, windscreen, tall handlebars, split seat, engine cowl and dual-purpose tires. The upright handlebar setup makes it suitable for both on-road and off-road riding.
Other features in the bike include a digital instrument cluster, disc brakes, dual-channel ABS and black alloy wheels.
