Leapmotor B03X sales begin in Nepal at Rs 4.499 million

KATHMANDU :  Leapmotor has officially launched its new electric SUV, the B03X, in the Nepali market. Shangrila Motors, the authorized distributor of Leapmotor in Nepal, has commenced sales of the new electric SUV.

The company has set the official price of the Leapmotor B03X at Rs 4.699 million. However, the first 100 customers can purchase the SUV at an introductory price of Rs 4.499 million.

The B03X is sold as the A10 in the Chinese market, while B03X is its global name.

The SUV is powered by a 145 kW electric motor paired with a 53 kWh battery pack. The company claims a maximum CLTC range of up to 505 km on a single full charge. The B03X supports DC fast charging, with the battery claimed to charge from 30 to 80 percent in around 16 minutes.

The vehicle has an energy consumption figure of 10.7 kWh per 100 km.

The B03X features a modern and aerodynamic design with a closed-off front grille, slim LED headlights and a distinctive smile-shaped lighting element.

The front bumper follows a clean aerodynamic design, while the side profile features flared wheel arches, black cladding, semi-hidden door handles and a floating-roof effect. LED tail lights are featured at the rear.

The SUV offers a 510-liter boot capacity along with a spacious cabin. It measures 4,270 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width and 1,635 mm in height, with a 2,605 mm wheelbase. The vehicle rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and features MacPherson strut suspension at the front and a torsion-beam setup at the rear.

Inside, the B03X gets a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, an 8.88-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch 2.5K floating central touchscreen.

The infotainment system is powered by Qualcomm’s 8295 cockpit chip, while the vehicle also comes with Qwen AI assistant integration. The Qualcomm 8295 chip and Qwen AI integration are also documented among the B03X’s technology features.
