KATHMANDU : Leapmotor has started sales of its new B03X electric crossover SUV in Nepal. The new model is being offered by Shangrila Motors, the authorized distributor of Leapmotor in Nepal.
The Leapmotor B03X is priced at Rs. 4.499 million for the first 100 customers. After the introductory offer, its price will increase to Rs. 4.699 million.
The B03X is being positioned as a value-for-money electric SUV. Customers can buy the vehicle with a monthly EMI of around Rs. 40,085 under the current auto loan provisions.
Under the existing lending provision, customers can finance up to 60 percent of a vehicle’s value. For the B03X priced at Rs. 4.499 million, buyers need to make a 40 percent down payment of Rs. 1.7996 million.
The remaining Rs. 2.6994 million can be financed through a bank loan. At an interest rate of 6.5 percent for seven years, the monthly EMI works out to around Rs. 40,085.
The EMI will be higher if the loan is taken for a shorter period. The Leapmotor B03X is available in five color options in Nepal.

Leapmotor B03X: key specifications
The B03X is known as the A10 in the Chinese market and carries the B03X name in international markets. It is a compact electric crossover SUV developed on Leapmotor’s new A platform.
The Nepal-spec B03X is equipped with a 145 kW electric motor and a 53 kWh battery pack. The battery provides a claimed range of up to 505 km under the CLTC test cycle.
The company claims the battery can be charged from 30 to 80 percent in around 16 minutes using a DC fast charger. Energy consumption is rated at around 10.7 kWh per 100 km.
The B03X features a modern design with a closed-off front grille, slim LED headlights and distinctive front lighting. It also gets flared wheel arches, black body cladding, semi-hidden door handles and a floating-roof design.
The SUV measures 4,270 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width and 1,635 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,605 mm. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels.

The interior features a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen. The infotainment system is powered by Qualcomm’s SA8295 cockpit chip and integrates Qwen’s AI assistant.
The B03X also focuses on practicality, with a large luggage compartment. Global specifications list up to 602 liters of cargo capacity, which can increase to 1,549 liters with the rear seats folded.
Safety and driver-assistance features include a 360-degree surround-view camera, seven airbags, rear cross-traffic warning, front and side radar, a front-view camera, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, ABS and Level 2 ADAS.
