KATHMANDU: The next-generation Bajaj Chetak electric scooter has been spotted testing in India, revealing key design and feature changes while retaining its familiar silhouette, according to Rushlane.
The spy shots show a newly designed single-piece LED tail lamp with integrated turn indicators, a revised number plate holder, and a flatter seat. The turn signals have been moved from the front apron to the handlebar area.

The test unit also features a new LCD instrument cluster, updated switchgear, and traditional telescopic forks instead of the single-sided front suspension seen in current models.
Bajaj is expected to equip the updated Chetak with either a 3 kWh or 3.5 kWh battery pack, offering a range of up to 150 km per charge.
The model is expected to make its official debut in India soon, followed by its launch in Nepal.
