KATHMANDU: Bajaj has introduced multiple Chetak electric scooter variants in Nepal to meet the different needs of customers.
Hansraj Hulaschand & Company, the authorized distributor of Bajaj in Nepal, currently offers the Chetak C2501, C3503 and C3501.
The three variants differ in battery capacity, range, top speed, charging time and features. This gives customers the option to choose a Chetak based on their riding requirements and budget.
The Chetak C2501 is positioned as an option for daily urban commuting. It gets a 2.5 kWh battery and offers a claimed range of 113 km on a single charge.
The scooter has a top speed of 60 kmph. It is suitable for riders who mainly use their scooters for commuting to offices, colleges, markets and other locations within the city.
The C2501 takes around 2 hours and 25 minutes for a full charge.
The Chetak C3503 comes with a larger 3.5 kWh battery. It offers a claimed range of 151 km, around 38 km more than the C2501.
The C3503 has a top speed of 63 kmph and takes around 3 hours and 25 minutes to fully charge. Its higher battery capacity and longer range make it suitable for riders who cover more kilometers daily.
The Chetak C3501 is positioned as the premium option in the lineup. It also gets a 3.5 kWh battery and offers a claimed range of 153 km.
Its key advantage is performance. The C3501 has a top speed of 80 kmph, making it suitable for riders looking for higher performance along with long range.
The C3501 also gets additional premium and smart features compared to the other variants. It is aimed at customers who prioritize performance, technology and a more premium riding experience.
The Chetak C3501 is the most expensive model in the lineup. It is priced at Rs 379,900 in Nepal.
