Suzuki Victoris goes on sale in Nepal with 32 variants

KATHMANDU: Suzuki has officially started sales of its new compact SUV, the Victoris, in Nepal. The vehicle has been introduced by CG Motocorp, Suzuki’s authorized distributor, with a total of 32 variants, making it one of the most variant-rich single models currently available in the Nepali market.

Sales have started with an introductory price of Rs 50.99 million, which is applicable only to the first 50 customers. According to CG Motocorp, the standard price of the entry-level Victoris LXI is Rs 53.99 million, with an introductory discount of Rs 3 million offered to early buyers.

In the mild-hybrid lineup, the VXI variant is priced at Rs 58.99 million, while the ZXI costs Rs 62.99 million and the ZXI Dual Tone is priced at Rs 63.29 million. The ZXI Optional variant is available at Rs 64.99 million, and its dual-tone version at Rs 65.29 million.

Prices for the ZXI Plus start at Rs 69.99 million, with dual-tone and optional variants extending up to Rs 70.99 million.

Automatic variants are priced higher, with the VXI Automatic starting at Rs 66.99 million. The range extends to Rs 73.29 million for the ZXI Optional Automatic Dual Tone. At the top of the mild-hybrid automatic range, the ZXI Plus Optional Automatic Dual Tone is priced at Rs 83.29 million.

For buyers looking for AllGrip four-wheel drive, prices range from Rs 88.99 million to Rs 91.29 million, depending on the variant and color option.

The strong hybrid Victoris range starts at Rs 84.49 million for the VXI variant. The ZXI and ZXI Dual Tone are priced at Rs 88.49 million and Rs 88.79 million, respectively.

Higher trims include the ZXI Optional at Rs 89.99 million and go up to Rs 97.29 million for the fully loaded ZXI Plus Optional Dual Tone, which is the most expensive Victoris variant on sale in Nepal.

The Suzuki Victoris is available with both mild-hybrid and strong-hybrid powertrains, along with an optional four-wheel-drive system. The top variants come equipped with Level 2 ADAS, positioning the Victoris as a technology-focused offering in the compact SUV segment.

Feature highlights include ventilated front seats, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital driver display, wireless smartphone connectivity, head-up display, wireless charger, 360-degree camera, tire pressure monitoring system, cruise control, and six airbags as standard safety equipment.

Suzuki is offering the Victoris with two engine options: a 1.5-liter petrol engine and a 1.5-liter petrol strong-hybrid engine, catering to buyers looking for both conventional and fuel-efficient SUV options in Nepal’s growing compact SUV market.
