KATHMANDU: Tata Motors has begun road testing the facelifted Tiago.ev, with the electric hatchback spotted under heavy camouflage. The updated model is expected to receive minor design revisions and feature upgrades.
Spy images show the Tiago.ev retaining its shark-nose-style front fascia, while the headlamp clusters appear to be new. The front bumper also looks redesigned. The tail lamps largely resemble the current model, although minor revisions are expected on the production version.
Inside, the facelifted Tiago.ev is likely to get a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, and an updated digital instrument cluster.
Powertrain options are expected to remain unchanged. The Tiago.ev facelift is likely to continue with the 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh battery packs, offering a claimed range of up to around 315 km, according to Indian media reports.
Details on pricing and launch timeline have not been announced.
