Thailand made Deepal S05 electric SUV lands in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: The Deepal S05 electric SUV has officially arrived in Nepal. Built in Thailand, this new model comes from Changan’s new energy brand, Deepal.

MAW Vriddhi Autocorp has announced the prices for all three variants. The Light variant is priced at Rs. 6.299 million, the Plus at Rs. 6.599 million and the Max at Rs. 6.799 million. The listed prices are intended for customs valuation and may differ from the final retail pricing.

The S05 is powered by an electric motor that produces 99 kW of peak power. It is one of the latest additions to Nepal’s growing EV segment.

The SUV will be showcased at the upcoming NADA Auto Show starting August 19. It is expected to attract strong attention from EV buyers and enthusiasts.
