KATHMANDU: Toyota has introduced the right-hand drive (RHD) bZ3X electric SUV in Hong Kong and Macau. This is the model’s first launch in these regions, where vehicles drive on the left side of the road.

In Macau, the bZ3X is priced at about USD 33,100. Prices for Hong Kong are yet to be confirmed. This is almost 50% more expensive than the same trim in mainland China, which sells for about USD 22,400.

The RHD version has a 70 kWh battery and a 150 kW motor, giving a range of up to 565 km. It supports AC and DC fast charging and offers Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) power supply.

Inside, the SUV features a 14.6-inch central screen, wireless Apple CarPlay, an 11-speaker YAMAHA audio system and ventilated front seats. It also comes with a panoramic roof, dual-zone climate control and a 360-degree parking camera.

The bZ3X was first launched in China in March 2025 through the GAC-Toyota joint venture, where it quickly gained strong demand. The right-hand drive version is now ready for markets like Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, UK, Australia and Singapore.

In Nepal, Toyota’s dealer United Traders Syndicate plans to launch the SUV in 2026.
