Triumph Speed 400’s price up by Rs 10,000

KATHMANDU: The price of the Triumph Speed 400 motorcycle has gone up by Rs 10,000.

According to Hansraj Hulaschand & Company, the official distributor of Triumph motorcycles in Nepal, Triumph Speed 400 will now cost Rs 649,900.
This is the first price adjustment since the Speed 400’s launch in the Nepali market in August last year.

Triumph currently offers two models in Nepal—the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400X.

The Speed 400 has gained popularity among motorcycle enthusiasts for its performance and features. Powered by a 398.15cc single-cylinder, four-valve, liquid-cooled, DOHC, fuel-injected, Euro 5-compliant engine, the Speed 400 delivers 40 PS of maximum power and 37.5 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and features a torque-assist clutch for smoother gear shifts.

The bike also comes with a host of modern features, including a semi-digital instrument console, switchable traction control, full LED lighting, ride-by-wire throttle, immobilizer, Type-C USB charging port, dual-channel ABS, upside-down front forks and a gas-charged monoshock rear suspension.
