KATHMANDU: KTM has launched a new version of its popular premium motorcycle, the KTM 250 Adventure, in the Nepali market.
Hansraj Hulaschand & Company, the official distributor for KTM in Nepal, has introduced the bike at a price of Rs 749,900.
According to the company, the new 250 Adventure comes with an upgraded engine setup and several advanced features designed for rider convenience.

Powerful Engine and Performance
The motorcycle is equipped with a 249.7cc LC4c, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, SOHC, FI internal combustion engine with refined tuning. It produces a maximum power of 31 PS and 25 Nm of torque. The bike features a 6-speed gearbox and has a top speed of 140 km/h.
Design
Built on a lightweight steel tubular trellis frame, the bike gets a new chassis with WP Apex USD front forks, a rear monoshock with adjustable travel suspension which give the bike a ground clearance of 227 mm.
With a tall wind visor, rally tower-style display, sleek tail section and semi-faired bodywork, the overall design of the 250 Adventure closely resembles the KTM 390 Adventure.

Advanced Technology and Electronic Features
The KTM 250 Adventure comes with a 5-inch full-digital TFT console with features like smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, service indicators and real-time ride information.
Additional features include a full LED projector headlight setup with DRLs, shift light, turn signal lamps, riding modes, off-road mode, quickshifter, slipper clutch, ride-by-wire throttle, dual disc brakes with dual-channel ABS, tubeless tires, alloy wheels, chain drive and an adjustable windscreen.
Mileage
The motorcycle delivers an overall mileage of up to 38 km per liter. It has a 14.5-liter main fuel tank with a 2.9-liter reserve.
Warranty and Servicing
The KTM 250 Adventure comes with a warranty of two years or 30,000 kilometers. The first servicing is required at 1,000 kilometers or within 45 days, the second at 8,500 kilometers or 150 days, and the third at 16,000 kilometers or 240 days, according to the company.
