KATHMANDU: KTM’s upcoming RC 160 has been leaked online ahead of its expected launch in India. The new model will be positioned as a direct rival to the Yamaha R15.

Leaked images show that the RC 160 carries a familiar design, closely resembling the RC 200. It features a full sporty fairing, KTM-style headlamp, two-piece stepped seat, and a slim rear section.

The KTM RC 160 is expected to be powered by a 164cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. The unit is likely to produce around 19 bhp and 15.5 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.

Suspension duties are expected to be handled by an upside-down front fork and a rear mono-shock. Braking is likely to be managed by disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS as standard.

The KTM RC 160 is expected to be launched in India in the coming weeks.
