KATHMANDU: TVS Motor Company has launched its all-new adventure motorcycle, the Apache RTX 300 ADV, in the Indian market.

The bike is available in three variants, with prices starting at 199,000 Indian rupee (ex-showroom).

The Apache RTX 300 comes with a semi-faired adventure design, upright windshield, raised handlebars, a two-piece stepped seat and a rear luggage rack.

With its powerful engine, modern features, and adventure-ready styling, the TVS Apache RTX 300 ADV is a strong contender in the mid-size adventure motorcycle segment.

Its road-focused ADV look, featuring a large headlight, tall windscreen and semi-faired body, gives it a bold and muscular appearance, similar to bigger Ducati Multistrada models.

It comes equipped with a 5-inch TFT display offering turn-by-turn navigation, cruise control and four riding modes; Rain, Urban, Tour and Rally.

The bike is powered by TVS’ newly developed 299.1 cc RT-XD4 engine, a single-cylinder, liquid and oil-cooled unit with DOHC setup and twin oil pumps.

It delivers 35.5 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 28.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and bi-directional quick-shifter.

The suspension setup includes gold-finished WP USD forks at the front and a long-travel mono-tube rear shock absorber. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.

The bike also features ride-by-wire throttle, traction control and wheelie mitigation for enhanced safety and performance.

The Built-To-Order (BTO) variant offers premium add-ons such as adjustable suspension, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and a brass-coated chain.

TVS also offers a wide range of official accessories including a raised beak fender, rear hugger, bash plate, tank guard, knuckle guards, USB charger and GIVI top box with side panniers for touring convenience.

With its powerful engine, advanced features and adventure-focused design, the TVS Apache RTX 300 ADV marks a strong new entry in the mid-size ADV motorcycle segment.
