KATHMANDU: Chinese electric two-wheeler maker Yadea is preparing to launch its electric motorcycle, Keeness, in the Nepali market.
Kuzu Nepal, the authorized distributor for Yadea in Nepal, plans to officially unveil the electric naked bike during the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo being held in Kathmandu on August 6-10.
The Yadea Keeness is equipped with a 11 kW motor capable of generating 280 Nm of torque. The bike boasts a top speed of 100 km per hour and can accelerate from 0 to 50 km per hour in just 4 seconds. According to the company, it has a climbing capacity of 20 degrees.
The motorcycle comes with two 72V 32Ah lithium batteries, offering a claimed range of up to 129 km on a full charge. The Keeness also features an intelligent battery management system with over 40 protections for enhanced safety and battery life, according to Yadea.
The bike boasts a top speed of 100 km per hour and can accelerate from 0 to 50 km per hour in just 4 seconds.
The bike features an inverted front fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear for its suspension system. It is equipped with disc brakes on both wheels and includes a Combined Braking System (CBS) for added safety.
Kuzu Nepal has not made pricing details public so far.
Kuzu Nepal is currently selling Yadea’s electric scooter models like G6, Epoch, C1S, G5, S-Like, E8S Pro and M6 in the Nepali market.
