Ather opens new experience center in Eastern Nepal

KATHMANDU: Ather Energy Nepal has opened a new Ather Experience Center in Birtamod, Jhapa, expanding its presence in eastern Nepal.

The new showroom will be operated by Bhurtel Energy as part of the company’s plan to strengthen its nationwide network and promote premium electric mobility solutions across the country.

According to the company, the new facility marks another step in delivering smart, high-performance, and sustainable transportation solutions to Nepali customers.

With the launch of the Birtamod outlet, Ather Nepal now has 11 experience centers across the country. The brand currently operates five centers inside Kathmandu Valley and has expanded to cities including Pokhara, Chitwan, Itahari, Butwal, Janakpur, and now Birtamod.

The company also operates 10 authorized service centers nationwide to provide after-sales support and improve ownership experience for customers.

On the occasion of the showroom launch, customers will receive extended battery warranty, zero percent interest financing schemes, and additional exchange valuation offers.

Ather currently provides one of the longest extended battery warranty packages in Nepal’s two-wheeler EV segment, offering coverage of up to eight years.

The new experience center will showcase the brand’s full product lineup, including the Ather 450 series and the Ather Rizta.

The Ather 450 series is designed for riders looking for performance and smart technology. It comes with features such as strong acceleration, Google Maps navigation, AutoHold, reverse mode, and multiple ride modes.

Similarly, the Ather Rizta is aimed at family and daily commuting users. The scooter offers a large seat, bigger storage capacity, traction control, theft alerts, and WhatsApp notifications.

Ather Nepal has also been expanding its EV charging infrastructure across the country. Customers can access more than 40 grid fast-charging stations located across major cities and highways.
