KATHMANDU: Foton Nepal has received the Corporate Commercial Vehicle Award 2026 for its contribution to Nepal’s transportation sector through advanced technology, safety, sustainable mobility, and environmentally friendly transport solutions.
The award was presented at an event in Kathmandu, where Anil Kumar Baral, CEO of MAW Vriddhi Commercial Vehicle Pvt. Ltd., accepted the honor on behalf of the company.
Baral said the award is a proud achievement for Foton and MAW Vriddhi, adding that it reinforces the company’s commitment to providing reliable commercial vehicles, innovative technology, strong after-sales support, and sustainable mobility solutions in Nepal.
According to the company, the recognition highlights Foton’s growing presence in Nepal’s commercial vehicle market and its efforts to promote cleaner and more efficient transportation.
Foton has supplied more than 2,000 vehicles across Nepal, including trucks, vans, and electric commercial vehicles.
The brand is officially represented in Nepal by MAW Vriddhi, which has expanded its nationwide sales, service, and spare parts network and developed a charging network with over 200 CCS2 fast-charging points.
