KATHMANDU: Rajhans Automobile, the authorized Changan dealer for Chitwan under MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, is preparing to launch the new Changan Nevo Q05 in Chitwan next week.
The Q05 is a compact electric SUV from Changan’s new-energy vehicle lineup. It will be offered in the Ultra variant at a special price of Rs. 5.199 million.
The SUV is powered by a 120-kW electric motor and comes with a 51.9 kWh CATL LFP battery. It has a claimed range of up to 462 km under NEDC testing.
The Q05 supports 3C fast charging. Its battery can charge from 30% to 80% in around 15 minutes, with peak DC charging capability of up to 162 kW.
The SUV measures 4,478 mm in length and has a 2,735 mm wheelbase. It offers a 540-litre boot and reclining rear seats.
Changan says the Q05 has crossed 125,000 units in cumulative sales globally as of August 2026. The model has also received a Golden A’ Design Award.
The launch in Chitwan will expand Changan’s presence in Nepal’s growing compact electric SUV segment.
